Rainsmart Terravault Root Protection - Single Module Flat Packed

Single module for flower, plant or tree root protection. Use when planting to prevent roots from encroaching into unwanted areas such as under patios. 

The modules allow for high-quality root structure to grow in a healthy and controlled environment. 

Can be used to prevent roots from growing up through pavements or causing dips and cracks. While the open matrix of the module provides a maximum growth zone for roots with more than 95% of the internal void volume is available for you to fill with nutrient-rich un-compacted soil. The failure to install a protection system such as Terravault could result in the surface becoming over compacted and rutted resulting in not enough oxygen and nutrients getting to the roots.

Please Note - this module comes with completely open sides and ends - meaning the root can grow freely in all directions (apart from upwards). If you wish to block off certain areas as you are installing next to a patio or wall then Rainsmart Ellipse blocker plates should be used. 

• To block off a side - you need a Rainsmart Ellipse large plate to act as a blocker
• To block off an end - you need a Rainsmart Ellipse small plate to act as a blocker

• Modules can be laid in whatever formation is required capping off areas where you don't want roots to encroach - no other product on the market works in this way
• Without Terravault the surface could become over compact and rutted resulting in not enough oxygen and nutrients getting to the roots - ultimately killing the plant root
• Prevents root damage - open matrix provides an area for maximum growth the crate completely absorbs all loads
• Allows roots to grow via the path of least resistance (through the open plates in the Terravault module) means roots don't grow up and cause dips and cracks to the with pavement
