This manhole cover is made from galvanised steel with a strong polypropylene frame.
It has a 2.5 Tonne load rating, which makes is suitable for pedestrian use only.
Like all manhole covers, the size refers to the clear opening size – in this case 450mm x 450mm (18 x 18).
The actual overall size of the cover within the frame is 470mm x 470mm, and the overall size of the cover including the frame is 513mm x 513mm x 23mm.
