What are the differences between Type F, G, and Z Flat Roof Windows?

Flat roof windows are incredibly robust with a modern look and functional appeal, allowing an abundance of natural light into your space. The different types of flat roof windows have many beneficial features, such as low U-value or unrivalled sound insulation, but it can get confusing when choosing which one is the best for you. In this article we are going to look at the three main types – F, G and Z and their major differences, so you can make the most informed decision when buying your new flat roof windows.

Flat windows possess a wide range of benefits – the major difference between the three main types lies in the construction of their glazing unit. The more layers there are in a window, the more advantages you will have, such as reduced outside noise, UV protection and enhanced security.
