Undefloor Heating Under Lino

Lino flooring and electric underfloor heating are a great combination, but you need to consider some factors to choose the right system. Lino is thinner than tiles, so you might need less power to heat it up. You also need to think about the size, insulation, and heating level of the room to make sure that the heating system is compatible with Lino flooring and does not overheat it. Lino can only handle a certain temperature, so you should check with your flooring manufacturer about compatibility and choose a heating system that lets you control the temperature precisely.

We offer three different electric underfloor heating systems specifically designed for lino flooring: sticky mats, loose cables, and foil mats. When the power output is 150W and installed within a 10mm layer of levelling compound, sticky mats and loose cables can be effective on lino. Our foil mats have a power of 140W per m2 and are compatible with Lino when paired with our Heat Pak Dual Overlay.
